Which kybun product is suitable for standing at work?
We recommend that you stand on the kybun mat for this kind of work. The mat is ideal for it: The feet can move with complete freedom and the body is trained even more intensively than in the kybun shoe. If you also perform our four basic exercises to loosen up from time to time, you will not become passive as quickly. In time, you will be able to stand for hours on the elastic, springy mat.
Whenever you notice that your body is becoming tired, bounce, walk or jog in place for 20–30 seconds. This will reinvigorate you and allow you to continue standing on the kybun mat.
The kybun shoes' breathing function does not work perfectly while you remain stationary. If you stand for too long, your feet may overheat. The kybun shoe has been designed for walking. The kybun shoe is ideally suited to alternating between standing at a podium and walking.
Which kybun mat is best suited to an office?
For fit people who are in shape and who stand for many hours on the kybun mat, we recommend a thickness of 6 cm. This kybun mat is the thickest and therefore most suitable. The 6-cm kybun mat may be too unstable for those with physical problems (those suffering from dizziness or recovering from an operation, for instance). They could try a lesser thickness of 4 cm. I prefer the longer kybun mat (96 cm) for standing at a desk because I like to be able to take a broad stance or walk a few steps once in a while, but that is a matter of personal preference.
We wish you and your team increased productivity and enjoyment at work on the kybun elastic, springy surface! Increase the duration of standing on the kybun mat gradually because your body must first become accustomed to the new load. Depending on how you feel on any given day, it is all right to stand for a relatively long time on one day and decrease the duration the next. That is completely normal.
What is the solution for steel-toed shoes?
The kybun mat is an excellent solution for working in a standing position. You can stand on the 2-cm-thick kybun mat plus (which has a water repellent and dirt-resistant surface) in your normal shoes or safety shoes. It is the best solution if you are required to wear safety shoes. In order to avoid tension and improper posture while standing, it is important for the body to remain slightly in motion, which it does when you stand on the kybun mat.
If you wear the kybun shoe during your leisure time, your feet will become more mobile and relaxed. This is a good way for your foot to recover from the hard soles of your work shoes.
